1 · Who you are contracting with
JobTayo Academy is operated by Mindflows UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Schumannstraße 27, 60325 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, registered under HRB 127182. In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. Full details are in our Imprint.
2 · Who can register
- You must be at least 18 years old
- The details you give us must be accurate and current, so that we can actually reach you about your account, your access and the weekly live call
- Your subscription is personal to you. It cannot be transferred, and your login is yours alone to use
3 · What the subscription gives you
The Academy is self-paced. There are no cohorts, no start dates and no fixed term. You subscribe, you log in at academy.jobtayo.com, and you work through the material at whatever pace your week allows.
While your subscription is active you get:
- Every course published at the time, at whatever depth it is built to
- A weekly live call. There is no fixed syllabus — what people bring is the agenda
- The Discord community
- Exercises, with your answers saved as you go and an answer key
- Quizzes, one per foundation course, scored automatically. The rules are in section 6
Access begins when your first payment clears and continues for as long as the subscription is active. Live call times are published in Manila time (PHT); if you are working abroad, please convert to your own local time.
We add to, re-record and retire material as the Academy is built, so the library on the day you join is not fixed. That is the point of paying by the month rather than once. If we materially reduce what is delivered, we will tell you. If you breach the Acceptable Use Policy, we may suspend or end your access without a refund.
4 · What is built today, and what is not
Today the subscription gives you the foundation: three courses, taken in order — The World of the VA, How to Get Clients, and The AI-Powered VA. Each one runs sessions, then an exercise, then a quiz. Passing the quiz opens the next course.
The specialisations — Softr, Claude and monday.com — are being built, and they are not part of what is being sold today. We would rather say that plainly than have you subscribe expecting six courses when three are live. We will tell subscribers when a specialisation opens and what it involves.
5 · Payment, renewal and cancellation
- The price is ₱999 per month, or ₱9,990 per year, which is two months free. Both are set up through PayPal directly until its checkout is built. That is the final price — no tax is added on top
- Billing is in advance for the period you choose, monthly or yearly. Each period is paid in full at the start of it
- PayPal is the payment processor. You set the subscription up in PayPal, and it renews automatically at the end of every period until you cancel it. Bank charges or currency conversion costs applied by your bank are yours to carry
- Cancel any time, in your PayPal account or by emailing hello@jobtayo.com. Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not end the period you have already paid for
- Access runs to the end of the paid period and stops there. If a renewal payment does not go through, the same applies: your access ends with the period you last paid for
- Exams are billed separately at ₱1,000 each. They are not part of the subscription price — see section 6
- If we change the price, we will tell you before it applies to you, and it applies from your next renewal. It never changes a period you have already paid for
Payments are not refunded. That includes a yearly subscription cancelled part-way through: there is no pro-rata refund of the unused months. What happens instead is that your access simply runs to the end of the period you paid for. The reason is that a subscription gives you the whole published library from the first day, so there is nothing left undelivered to refund. 6 · Quizzes, exams and what passing gets you
The foundation quizzes are scored automatically, so your result appears as soon as you finish. The same rules apply to every one of them:
- 67% to pass
- One sitting, with a 60-minute limit and no back button
- Closing the tab ends the attempt, so start one when you have a clear hour
- Unlimited retakes after 24 hours, with the questions and answers reshuffled each time
- Your best score counts
A specialisation assessment is a live call with a person, not a quiz. It costs ₱1,000, one per specialisation, billed separately from the subscription, and the assessment call is included in that price. No specialisation is open yet, so no assessment can be booked today.
Passing is not guaranteed and is not included in the price — the subscription buys the teaching and the exam fee buys the attempt, not the result. Anyone can watch the videos; not everyone passes, and that is the whole point of the standard. Where we offer a second attempt, its terms are published at the time.
Members who pass may enter the JobTayo talent pool. That is not an offer of work, a job placement, or a promise that any employer will contact you. Listing is voluntary, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
7 · What we do not promise
We do not guarantee income, rate increases, employment or clients. Nothing on our website, in our marketing, or in the courses is a promise of a particular financial outcome. What you earn depends on your own effort, skill, market conditions and circumstances entirely outside our control. Any figures we publish describe the market, not a result we commit to deliver to you.
8 · Acceptable use
Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out the detailed rules and forms part of these terms. Breaches may lead to your access being suspended or ended, or to a permanent ban.
9 · Intellectual property
- The JobTayo and Mindflows names, logos, website, course materials and assessment content remain ours
- Course materials are licensed to you personally, for your own learning, for as long as your subscription is active. The licence ends when your access ends — it is a licence to use the material while you are a member, not a copy you keep
- You may not resell, republish or upload the materials elsewhere, or share your access
- Work you build while you are studying with us is yours. We may ask permission to show it as an example, and we will not do so without your agreement
10 · Privacy
We process personal data under the GDPR and the Philippine Data Privacy Act. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect, who receives it, and how to exercise your rights.
11 · Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our liability in connection with the Academy is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this section.
12 · Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service or your breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own breach or fault.
13 · Termination
We may suspend or end your access for breach, fraud, or harm to other members. Where we end it for one of those reasons, no refund arises. You may cancel at any time, as set out in section 5, and ask us to close your record. Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, liability, indemnity and governing law — continue to apply.
14 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you habitually reside. You keep every right that law gives you, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country where it entitles you to.
Where you are a business, a legal person under public law, or have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Frankfurt am Main.
15 · Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms by posting an updated version here with a new date. Changes do not apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for; for a subscription they take effect from your next renewal. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you directly.
